Tramadol Side Effects

Tramadol hci is actually known as tramadol hcl. Tramadol used to treat moderate to severe pain. The active ingredient tramadol decreases pain by blocking nerve impulses of pain. In contrast to much potent analgesic action, Tramadol stands in therapeutic dose for lack of a depressing effect on respiration, and by his conduct in relation to neutral traffic. In therapeutic dose have not been verified side effects of other analgesics traditional central action, as inhibition of diuresis or organic toxic actions.

Tramadol is rapidly absorbed at the gastrointestinal tract. At a dose of 100 mg, the bioavailability is almost 75% and absorption is not significant affected by ingestion of food. Its association with plasma protein is lower in the order of 20% with hepatic biotransformation and renal elimination.

The multifactor mechanism of action of tramadol contributes to its analgesic activity specific, but is simultaneously responsible for several undesirable effects. His serotonergic activity may, in fact, often cause of gastrointestinal effects such as nausea and vomissements. Adverse neurological effects may also appear as epilepsy, when used higher doses or in combinations with other Medical serotonergic activity. At therapeutic doses, tramadol has little or no negative effects on the respiratory system, immune or cardiovascular and little constipation. The commonly seen with tramadol: drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, difficulty breathing and faintness. Other side effects are rare hallucinations, constipation, euphoria, visual disturbances, difficulty urinating, tachycardia (rapid heartbeat), allergic reactions. If in doubt, you can buy tramadol bluebook or consult About Tramadol to your doctor as soon as possible.

This meta-analysis shows that tramadol is effective in treating pain neuropathy only compared to placebo and no comparison with other analgesics. The methodological quality of studies is low and the number of patients who are included. Tramadol has significant side effects as well as Medicament uses interactions. We must therefore conclude that the place of tramadol in various forms of neuropathy pain is poorly established. The anti-pileptiques and antidepressants (tricyclics) are therefore a first choice.
