Non surgical Treatments for Hair Replacement Thinning

Nonsurgical treatments for hair replacement thinning. There is a lot of systems and hair restoration products that are promoted through the Internet, radio media, print and television advertisements. Since prescription medications and dentures, to laser treatments for hair loss and specialty product lines for hair care, it is difficult to determine what options are effective. Although manufacturers of products for preventing hair loss claim their products reduce the thinning of hair, concealing hair loss or stimulate new hair growth, consumers should carefully evaluate the clinical data to determine whether these products meet with promising results. Continue to advice on non-surgical hair replacement and products available to prevent hair loss.

An astonishing number of devices, shampoos, creams, vitamin supplements, prescription tablets and other products marketed assure that prevent hair loss and in some cases, it will stimulate hair growth. However, only some of these products have undergone FDA studies or other valid clinical studies to verify the accuracy of the results that claim in their marketing campaigns.
Products tested

Shampoos and topical products to prevent hair loss that contains Minoxidil and Rogaine, have been approved by the FDA to stimulate hair growth and retard hair loss in some people. Although many consumers say they obtained good results with the use of products containing minoxidil, others say not feel any change. Generally, specialists in hair loss products minoxidil prescribed before trying more invasive and expensive treatments. Generally, products with minoxidil are prescribed in combination with Retin-A ® (a treatment for skin conditions approved by the FDA) that allows the hair follicles absorb much minoxidil.

As with topical treatments, treatments for hair loss based on tablets and vitamins are rarely as effective in the prevention of thinning hair and stimulating new hair as their manufacturers claim. The only compressed against hair loss is FDA approved finasteride, sold under the trade name Propecia ®. Clinical studies have shown that Propecia ® helps reduce thinning of hair, and even, in some cases, stimulate hair growth. The FDA is considering a second drug promising, the dutasteride, which will probably be adopted for treating hair loss.

Consumers should be careful when selecting one of the options available among the long list of products to prevent hair loss. Before starting treatment should be considered if the product to prevent hair loss has been approved by the FDA or if it has been proven effective by reliable studies.
